There are five pillars to our weight loss resort and wellness program them being exercise, nutrition, education, relaxation and sustainability.

The exercise program is tailored to your current fitness level through our weight loss retreat specialists on site. You will go through a thorough assessment before you start exercising with us, making sure you enter the exercise program at a safe and suitable intensity for your fitness level. We have all fitness levels, shapes and sizes on every course so there’s no need to be nervous when joining us at FitFarms.

The nutrition program is both plant based and primal. We specialize in catering for all different food requirements or diet requests and our menu is seasonal and locally sourced. We do not think of food as fuel. We work with food so you receive the right amount of nutrients which will help with growth development, disease prevention which ultimately helps with your mood and emotional wellbeing.

The educational workshops cover nutrition, exercise, planning, scheduling, sleep, body analysis and lifestyle. It’s important to understand the reason why you are going through certain processes at FitFarms as it creates the foundation for motivation and ensuring a progressive weight loss past FitFarms. This will support you in reaching your short and long term goals.

Relaxation is the fourth element of our program. It is often overlooked but will play one of the major factors of your weight loss and wellbeing journey. Without relaxation stress is created which leads to a lift in your cortisol levels. When cortisol levels rise it creates weight gain especially around the abdomen level, mental wellbeing and relaxation is something we highly value at FitFarms. The FitFarms relaxation sessions will help with managing stress, improve sleep, and reduce emotional eating.

Sustainability the fifth part of the program and the most important prepares and supports you for a long-term healthy lifestyle and weight loss for when you return home. It is much easier to lose weight and change your lifestyle when you are in a controlled environment surrounded by health professionals. The real course starts when you arrive home, applying the knowledge and tools into your current lifestyle. You will be paired with a mentor at FitFarms and they will devise a tailored program to fit around your current health and ability. Your mentor will follow you through your post course program, motivating and supporting you to reach your long term goals.

Typical Daily Schedule

The FitFarms schedule is has been designed to give you a varied, fun and life changing experience . You will take part in workouts and workshops that are tailored to your individual needs. This is all backed up by are detailed post course program.

  • 7:00am

    Pre Breakfast Workout

    The FitFarms Morning Workout is scheduled 90 minutes before breakfast. Scientific evidence shows that this timeframe is optimal for fat burning and capitalizing on the body's natural fasting state. Lower insulin levels during this period means that energy comes from body fat. The FitFarms Morning Workout helps with the maintenance of balancing blood sugar levels which ultimately reduces the risk of diabetes and heart disease.

    Breakfast

    At FitFarms, no breakfast is the same making sure customers receive a wide variety of minerals, vitamins and nutrients. The breakfast menu is a tasty mix of both heated and cold meals, featuring options such as breakfast smoothies, organic buckwheat pancakes, baked avocado with egg, and the much loved wholesome FitFarms cooked breakfast.

    Beach Walk

    FitFarms America venues have been chosen to allow for beautiful beach hikes within the program, along the famous California and Florida coast. We strongly believe that your surroundings influence your emotions, responses, and thoughts. Various studies show exercising amongst nature boosts well being, lowers anxiety and increases motivation. Walking not only enhances cardiovascular fitness but also strengthens bones, muscles and increases energy levels. At FitFarms, we recognize that the mix between scenic and purposeful exercise is key to our customers psychological health and well being, making each beach walk a rejuvenating experience for both body and mind.

    Lunch

    Lunch options vary from hearty soups to colorful salads rich in vitamins, nutrition and minerals. The midday meal is designed to provide the necessary energy and nutrients to keep the body and brain functioning effectively throughout the afternoon at FitFarms. Our focus is on practical and nutritious choices, ensuring a unique yet straightforward approach to improving your health through food.

    Mindset and Emotional Eating

    In the first part of this workshop, you'll acquire effective strategies for optimizing body fat burning, ensuring your exercise efforts are targeted and productive. The second part of the workshop looks at how we can improve your relationships with food, tackling challenges like emotional eating, binge eating, and comfort eating. The workshop is interactive but customers also enter the room aware that they don't need to share information if it makes them feel uncomfortable.

    Pilates

    The FitFarms Pilates instructors concentrate on developing the lower body, upper body, and core, working towards overall strength and flexibility. Through these sessions customers also improve their balance, muscular endurance and posture.

    Wellbeing and Mind Therapy

    The Mindset and Wellbeing workshops at FitFarms offers a hands-on and immersive experience. This program is tailored to empower participants through emotional intelligence, self-regulation, self-esteem, and resilience. The workshop will help you acquire insights and practical skills for enhancing your mental and physical health.

    Strength and Conditioning

    In this session, our emphasis lies in the reinforcement of both core and auxiliary muscles. We do this with a sequence of exercises, our goal is to improve your mobility, posture and refine overall coordination. This holistic approach is designed not only to strengthen your muscles but also to lengthen them as well.

    Dinner

    Our dinner menu is thoughtfully designed to inspire you back into eating healthy, wholesome food. There is a selection of both classic and modern health-conscious dishes, featuring food like courgette spaghetti with smoked salmon, flavorful Thai fish cakes, protein packed meat balls and soups such as vegetable or fish chowder. We have a unique meatballs dish served in a homemade Mediterranean protein sauce. We are able to cover all food requirements catering, maintaining a high standard of allergen awareness.

FitFarms Massage Treatments

FitFarms has a full-time massage and beauty therapist that is on site and available 24hrs throughout your stay. Jane Aston holds her advanced anatomy and physiology and delivers a wide range of massages and treatments.

  • Hot Stones Massage

    The most popular chosen from our treatments on offer are the Hot Stone Massages. Hot Stones is a comforting and relaxing treatment, but also a deep style of massage, which is aided by the warmth of the stones. Jane will position the heated stones on key acupressure points of your body. Using the stones to create a thorough muscle manipulation massage while stimulating relaxation throughout your body.

    Hot Stone Massage can further reduce stress, improve circulation and even help detoxify the body. Assisting many challenges you may come across throughout weight loss.

  • Swedish Full Body Total Relaxation Massage

    This style of massage is aimed towards musculoskeletal issues like strains and sports injuries. Jane applies sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes targeting the inner layer of your muscle and connective tissues. Elevating any discomfort or pain you may be experiencing while providing a full body relaxation treatment.

    Swedish Full Body Massage has also shown to improve mood, better sleep and reduce stress on top of offering a natural pain relief.

  • Swedish Full Body Intense Massage

    The main benefits Swedish massage brings is improved circulation and full body relaxation. Jane applies a softer technique over muscle areas that she has assessed to be more prone to pain, releasing any muscle tension or stiffness.

    This type of massage is ideal after a challenging fitness schedule or if your experiencing any discomfort preventing you from exercising.

  • Silicone Cupping

    Cupping therapy is an ancient form of medicine used to improve blood flow, create full body relaxation, reduce inflammation and boost wellbeing. Jane places special suction cups on your body to create a form of deep tissue massage.

    Silicone Cupping therapy can ease muscle tension and reduce pain throughout your body. Ideal assistance to any fitness related injuries or support throughout getting back into a exercise regime.

  • Male Shoulders And Back Stress Relief

    Jane offers a Scandinavian style of massage which is a mix of Swedish and Deep Tissue. This style of treatment triggers stress points on the upper and lower back, these muscle areas often tighten from posture positions and stress.

    This style of massage offers a therapeutic relaxation, reducing stress, improving posture, increasing flexibility and inducing a full body state of calmness.

  • Indian Head Massage

    Indian Head Massage is a shorter massage also known as Champissage. Jane will focus on massaging acupressure points along the head, neck and shoulders. This type of massage is great for relieving stress and inducing relaxation.

    Indian Head Massage further carries benefits from aiding migraines, relieving depression/anxiety, improvement of sleep and can even promote hair growth.

  • Beauty Selection

    Jane offers a Eyebrow Lift and Tintbeauty treatment. This includes applying semi permanent dye to the eyebrows, adding definition with fuller eyebrows. Leaving you with a younger and lifted face, enhancing your natural features.

    Janes Facials are multi layered and cover deep cleansing, pimple/blemish extraction massage and steam treatment. Including our popular Hydra Facial treatment, improving skin tone, reducing face wrinkles and lines with immediate visual results. Jane uses mud masks for a total skin cleanser and finishes the facial with Elemis moisturiser. Mud masks allow total exfoliation of the skin, purifying the face and leaving you with cleansed, detoxified skin.
